Hi Hivers!! Once again this is Gelaii, for today's blog I would like to share to you my unforgettable experience and cherished moments at Balai Gawahan. Before anything's else, to inform you, I really love natures, beaches, road trip and city lights. Who wouldn't? This kinds of places are the ones that can give me a peace of mind, my stress reliever and the sound of waves is like music to my ears. If I'm tired of the city life, I always give myself a break for everything and enjoy what God created.
On Sunday morning, I woke up as early as 7 a.m. to start preparing and dolled my self up because someone invited me to Balai Gawahan, so I came along with him after all it is a good time to relax and unwind because starting next week I will be having a busy schedule at school.
At exactly 7:45 a.m., I left home because my friend are going to get me at the GSIS. After a few minutes of waiting, my friend arrived at exactly 8 a.m. and we arrived at Balai Gawahan quarter to 9. The first thing we did there is to unpack our things and pay for the camp site for only a day tour that we booked yesterday. After that we roamed around to see the surroundings and appreciate the beauty of Balai Gawahan.
Balai Gawahan is located at Sitio Tambara, Barangay San Fernando, Talisay City, Negros Occidental. A 30-40 minutes drive from Bacolod City. When you enter the place for the first time you will notice their small nipa hut or what we call kubo-kubo here in the Philippines, where you can rent to stay overnight and also they have camping site. The hut house or Kubo is the most expensive one, so we rented a camp tent for as low as 350 pesos, it is good for 2 person that's include your entrance fee, swimming pool fee and the camp site fee.
You can relax and enjoy the view because you can reconnect with nature even though you are all alone. Beside from that the accommodations are very nice and the who manage the resort are very approachable, also their foods are very delicious and budget friendly, even the foods are very cheap and it is really worth it.
As time goes by, I didn't realize that the sun has already setting down. Since then, we decided to go home already, after all it's already been becoming late. So we left at 6:27 p.m. and when we arrived at Bacolod City, we passed Cegasco, and saw Angel's Burger off the overpass to have a bite. We ordered some cheese burger with egg and soft drinks to satisfy our thirst. You know what's interesting with Angel's Burger here in Bacolod City? It's because the burger here is a buy 1 take 1. During the night we had some talk for a while before he take me home.
I can say that traveling here for 30 to 40 minutes and spending money is quite worth it because you will be able to experience those mesmerizing seen and refreshing swimming pools that you can enjoy here in Balai Gawahan.
I hope you enjoy reading may experience in Balai GAWAHAN. ☺️
