My recent visit to Thimmappana Betta was an unforgettable experience, made even better by the company of two close friends. Each of us took our own bikes for the journey—I rode my trusty Pulsar 220, while my friends brought along a Pulsar NS 200 and an Apache RTR. Being a bike enthusiast, I always make it a point to exchange bikes during rides, and this trip was no exception. The thrill of riding different bikes added an extra layer of excitement to our adventure.
We arrived at Thimmappana Betta just as it opened to visitors. The entry timings are from 6 AM to 5 PM, and we were lucky to reach right at the opening hour. The ticket issuer informed us that there was a nominal entry fee of Rs. 20 per bike and shared a delightful piece of news: skilled riders could take their bikes all the way to the top of the hill! Hearing this, our excitement skyrocketed, and without hesitation, we decided to give it a try.
Thanks to the manageable terrain, all three of us successfully rode our bikes to the top. The sense of accomplishment was unparalleled, and the views from the top made it all worthwhile. We captured some fantastic photos to remember the day, showcasing the hill’s majestic beauty and our thrilling ride.
