WeekendPhotos: I went to the local market and bought some flowers

Recently I saw a Hive account@sardrt photo here that reminded me how much I love these plants during the summer season. But I wasn't recalling its name, I also called them "Paper flowers" because when dried they look artificial, like made of fine paper.

I spend the last day's trying to guess its name, but I decided to ask for someone who's seeling it! Much more easier, right?!

This morning on the local market when I saw those flowers I immediatly "run" to them to ask to the lady the flower's name!!

I got so fascinated looking to the flowers that I ended boughting those...

Statice flowers!!

Also called sea lavender (Limonium sinuatum), statice cut flowers are long lasting in the vase, whether fresh or dried.

I prefer them dried, that's why I placed them in a pot without water

Fruits & veggies

When I got home I took some photos of the fruits and veggies boughted reminding the #fruitsandveggies challenge by Hive account@barbara-orenya. But it has already end, so these photos aren't running!

I'm just sharing because these fruits are mainly sold on summer months!

I bought (from up left to right) eggs, lettuce, cucumbers, peaches, tomatoes, cherries, melon, watermelon and statice flowers!!

It's hard to choose what to eat first...not much, Cherries, always cherries!! :))
