We need to talk!

At yesterday's Barbarella Show I shared a personal experience about perception. I told about an experience from my childhood and how my assumed perception was changed by a friendship. I became aware that surely everyone can describe a short experience, which led to questioning one's own perception. Like I have stated before in the Welcome Wagon Digest:

perception might be more important to all of us than some might think. Our perception definitely influences the history of the world every day

What is this #challenge about?

I am sure that many would love to hear about a short experience of your life, that made you question or even change your perception. A funny one, an emotional one, a random one.

Why I started this #challenge?

We all experienced moments when our perception was wrong - when we had to question our perception, eventually this may lead to a change in our life. I would love to read about this little moment in your life. You don't need to write a long story. A short moment that opened your eyes would be great! There is so much we all can learn from this little moment in your life. And it will help to learn a little bit more about you.

Background:

First started at the #dropintheocean show at @BuddyUp by @Penderis, @Juliamulcahy and @Youhavewings I became aware of how much we all can learn from each other when we share our experiences and thoughts about perception.

Thoughts on Perception at the #Barbarellalive Show

To start with opening the wise books...Among the favourites we keep is the Cambridge dictionary reading on Perception...

perception noun uk /pəˈsep.ʃən/ us /pɚ-/ 1. a belief or opinion, often held by many people and based on how things seem; 2. someone's ability to notice and understand things that are not obvious to other people; 3. an awareness of things through the physical senses, esp. sight.
