Today hasn’t been an eventful day. Yesterday I read in the ‘Introduction to Gnosis’ about this exercise I’d like to share with you. It made me think those old stories of the ancient magi. In your bedroom you take a string and suspend it from the ceiling. At the bottom of the string you tie a sewing needle. When you wake up in the morning the goal is to use your mental waves to move the string. It’s said that at first the needle won’t move. However after awhile with much concentration and focus the needle will start to shake. This is something you can try out at home and experience for yourself.
Again we see another example of why to follow the teachings of Weor. To accomplish the same thing using another method we recommend using just a simple half full glass of water on the table. Either method will work. If you can hang a string from the ceiling go for it. The glass of water on the table works where the string method isn’t an option.
Another exercise you can do is get a deck of playing cards and attempt to guess which color they are. If you’re score is about fifty percent you know you’re getting somewhere. When you can consistently do about fifty percent most of the time, then focus on the suit. This is another method to begin training your psychic abilities.
Someone did like a post that was created a couple of days ago so perhaps this is being seen by people. This is good that the group itself is getting some kind of exposure. I’m glad that there’s an option to add people to the blog so that others can contribute to the project as well. Documenting their experiences with the materials so we verify for ourself that other people are having these mystical experiences with the knowledge.
Practicing magic in Ron you have to understand first that prayers are magickal. When you whisper words into the air worshiping a deity invisible to the naked eye, you are practicing magick. That being said there’s a difference between a prayer and a curse. They are two sides of the same coin. We encourage our students to bless their enemies and of course to love them. Disdain the sin but for sure love the sinner.
Sometimes that means you might have to love them from a distance by keeping them in your prayers. You can’t control how other people act and it’s important for you to be happy.
