You'd think that with the top 20 accounts taking ~56% of the daily rewards pool that their stopping of this gang reap would result in everybody's take from the pool doubling presuming voting patterns stayed the same.
But, that is not how the pool is designed.
If the top 20 stop taking ~56% of what is available the total will just move down the line.
There would be some involved math required to figure out how far down the line we would have to go to find balance at 500 accounts taking 50% of the pool, I am not capable of doing it, but at least one of you reading this is.

You have to click on the effective hp tab.
It always gives me trouble.
The other tabs snap right to, but not effective hp.
It always takes several reloads.
Today it takes about 553,000hp to make 1000mv.
If you don't know what an mvest is, that is ok, you don't really have to know.
Just know that the people voting to take more than that each day are kneecapping adoption, imo.
Instead of converting it to hbd and getting 20% on their money, they would rather stay in the pool getting ~9% on their money.
Seems ass backwards, but power does strange things to some folks.
So, how do we fix this glaring deficiency in distribution?
Buy more hive.
If you are long term committed to the hive, then trade your hbd on the internal market for hive, and power that shiznit up.
This is the only way we ever right the balance in the pool away from the greediest of the f**ks.
It should be customary that if you want to be 'one of us' that you have at least enough hp to give a vote on a comment that doesn't round down.
Currently around 800hp.
Anybody powering down beyond 800hp is not worthy of rewards, iyam.
The highest earners, of course, should have even higher cutoffs based on reputation.
Register your disatisfaction with the current status quo by following the the xaccounts with a 1 or 2% downvote on hive.vote.
