Another castle in NYC

Belvedere Castle

Is a cool little castle with such a cool character and feel to it and its also a nice stop in the park with nice views in a few directions

It was originally designed by Calvert Vaux and Jacob Wrey Mould to b a folly Structure to provide a nice backdrop and cool views

In 1919 that all changed when the weather service began taking measurements from the Castle's Tower, by 1983 the castle was quite run down and was refurbished and renovated and it now serves as the Henre Luce Nature Observatory.

Inside it has a variety of Natural history artifacts such as Skeletons and Paper Mache Birds
