With all the Whale talk on Steemit, it's actually surprising and odd the number of stories in the news this last week about actual whales.
Whale Surfacing
If you haven't seen this yet, it's really amazing to see how this massive fin whale surfaced right in front of a boat full of tourists in Quebac.
Whale Sleeping Too Close for Comfort
It's VERY weird to see it just floating like this in open water.
Whale Rescue
A Humpback caught in fishing nets in Newfoundland is helped by the Whale Release and Strandings group. It's not something you want to try in a small boat unless you have the knowledge, right tools, and the guts to brave such a risky rescue.
