I dunno where, how, or how many, but I seem to have self voted against my principles, and my practice.
I'm not gonna dig too deep to find out what I self voted, but I assure anyone who has any interest in my principles, that I didn't do so intentionally.
Imma do my best to keep it from happening again, as I intend to be the social in 'social media', which is to say that I desire for such support as I have to come from the community that supports my posts and principles.
I apologize if I have let you down. I'm just a person, and somehow the system caused me to self vote. I shall keep an eye out, and I have already noted that somehow, the checkbox for self voting posts was checked. I didn't do it. At least, not on purpose. It seems a stretch to think I might have accidentally checked that box, but reckon it may have happened during a reboot, or some such shenanigan that occasionally trips me up online.
If you note that it happens again, I assure you I will be grateful to be informed, so that I can rectify the problem - and I do consider it a problem. I am not here to tout myself, but to find folks like you to tout. I think you're cool, and wanna create a network of cool people that I can count of for truth, justice, and friendly discourse about real stuff.
If I follow you, you're the pointy tip of the spear. I am trying desperately to limit my follows, so that I can actively engage with those I follow. If more than 100 or so folks are in my feed, I cannot do that. If you're not the pointy tip, I still prolly end up engaging with you from time to time, as folks resteem stuff that they find of value, and I usually do too.
Anyway, I have never intended to self vote, am annoyed and concerned that it happened, and am going to pay closer attention so that it doesn't happen again.
Thanks!
