I ran a Cat6 Ethernet cable out of the home and as far towards my workshop as I could without trenching underground. I then installed a TP Link Outdoor Wireless Access Point to give more internets to the workshop!
I tested and got good signal strengths, even down in the lower garden—about 300’ straight shot away.
