Well I don't know if it's the same snail - I rather doubt it.
This guy suctioned himself to the mesh screen of the lanai. I even tried to pick him to put him in the grass but he wouldn't budge.
Thought I would leave him alone, after all, I don't think he knows I'm not into escargot.
Then I noticed he was coming down, so I picked him up and put him in the grass.
I don't know why, but I like snails. Maybe it's because they aren't really a threat. Someone said they would eat my plants, but I don't think I have enough snails for it to really hurt any.
