Willa Brown chappell(January 22, 1906 July 18,1992)was a teacher, lobbyists, and civil rights activist. She was the first African woman to earn a pilot license in the United States, she was the first African woman to run for the United States Congress,the first African woman officer in the US civil air patrol , and also the first African woman to have a mechanic license.
She was a good African lady and we can call her a hero..
