Currently, I am working on a custom high grade gunpla. But I'm not entirely sure if I can finished it for 2018 GBWC because I really wanna take my time on this one (being really serious here).
The concept is to combine 2 HG which are Devil Gundam and Neue Ziel. I am trying to use every part from each model I can . Also I need to practice on making a diorama which will be a sinking ruined building (I found the inspiration when I was checkin tweeter). So, there are a ton of work to do.
Some artwork from the manual book of Devil Gundam (I think it has a lot of potential)
Definitely going to sacrifice the transformability of this kit
Straight build Devil Gundam
Showed this project to my friend last week and he said it looks like a cheap plastic (LOL). The thing is most of straight build plastic will look like cheap plastic. You have at least to put a finishing touch to (specially top coat).
There are many ways to give a finishing touch to a model kit. Weathering, painting, battle damage and many others you name it. But it will take time and patience and certainly some $$$ (I have some tricks of my sleeve for cheap effects on gunpla).
Straight build Neue Ziel
Got this Neue Ziel for a bargain on a facebook auction on my local community. Did know which Gundam series at the time I bought this kit. Overall, pretty solid build (I wish bandai made Master Grade version of this kit, honestly!). I mean imagine how glorious would that be?
This is it for todays update and I will post more update regularly. Since I'm working on my gunpla everyday even if it's just sanding parts (at least something everyday so I don't lose interest on finishing it).
Cheers guys!
