Empowering wisdom of the crowd
Crowdwitness will be publishing info updates regularly - at least once in two weeks, depending if there are any changes worth announcing. In the first week there are surely some things to mention - we've been recognized by steem community and we've sparked some great discussions. Another encouraging thing for us is that lots of steemians are reacting positively on our appearance in their comment section.

There are many projects on STEEM which harness the strength of specific crowdsourcing manifestation, and it is great – but we wanted to focus not on crowdsourcing tools, but the users themselves.
We're going to be announcing a new action in our project. We will be interviewing a steem witness and will be sharing it in the format of a newspaper column. Our plan is to refresh and rekindle some of the communication breakdowns that have dissolved between users witness and user.
Lots of regular users don't know anything about witnesses, and those that do don't really understand their work behind the scene. As a result they are not voting for anyone, or just don't care. For that reason we will try to make it easier for all witnesses to reach out to normal users and help them make easier decisions and see the importance of a witness vote.

corwdwitness is approved by 83 steemians with cumulative 691 MVests (or roughly 345 kSP). These votes ranked us to 174th place on a witness list, or 138th amongst active witnesses. And to our excitement we already solved 3 blocks!
With our increasing strength we will be able to support more projects with bigger impact. We are open for discussion with other project leaders and collaboration with them.
