Hi! If are curious, like me, on how much RAM and CPU does it take to run a Witness node, I am going to show you here a few screenshots of the resource usages on my Witness server!
Here we can see that, as a small Witness, I am barely using any CPU, the heavy load is on RAM memory usage, currently 45.6GB is required (and actually my concern for the future, between the HF19 and HF20 the RAM usage spiked!)
Here, in the next screenshot, you can see that the network data usage is also not heavy for a small witness, under 1MB/s
If you like powerful hardware and want to see how the data usage will grow, I will keep posting updates on how is my server doing, and I would like you to vote for me, so I can produce more blocks and increase the load on my server.
