One of the things that I have been stressing to everyone is "to be yourself" and not to fall into the trap of trying to please others just for the sake of 'pleasing others' in the hope that you get noticed.

Well, the same applies to us Steem Witnesses.

or do we bend over backwards to get votes and climb up that ladder?

idk, personally, I would hope not. It is one thing to compromise and come to an amicable agreement, conclusion, terms, ideas, path forwards, but I guess it is a totally different story when it is done just for the money.

During the course of this year we have all been given great opportunities to meat our Steem Witnesses.

Yes, that is right, literally get to know our Witnesses almost on a one on one basis.

The Witness Chats

in our ever so popular and friendly Steemit Ramble Discord Server.

The show is run once a month by Hive account@shadowspub , a highspeed show host who has been around on Steem for like 2 years now and who seriously knows too much about too much for the Witness Chat to turn into a "show and tell" type of cheesy TV Advert. She knows her stuff and she makes sure that the shows are informative and interesting for everyone.

Best thing about this show is the fact that it isn't "exclusive" as to which Steem Witnesses attend, it is open to ALL Witnesses as it is open to ALL STEEMIANS!

We also have a show run by Hive account@aggroed on MSP-waves, his show is a little different in that it is by invite only as far as the Witnesses go, but it too is open to ALL STEEMIANS!

The show is called "Steem Witness Forum".

With Hive account@aggroed being a witness himself, you can understand why the show is different to the one mentioned earlier in this post.

So, yeah, it has a different approach to it all which is great as it adds a different angle to the way the show goes and what all gets talked about.

I truly recommend that you check it out and attend these, as they are not only informative, but also somewhat like a Witness Late Show with a guest Witness or two!

There are various other shows out there in which Steem Witnesses have been guests, or should I say, in which Witnesses have been in, one of which is very unique in nature and is hosted by the ever so friendly and happy soul who we know as Hive account@snook .

She runs a show called "Pants are optional" and it is really all about anything and everything, just not "Steem", so if there is a show to get to know the other side of the guest, this is it!

Now, take note, these shows are not exclusive to witnesses only, she has a wide variety of guests on her show and among which are witnesses too! In any case, definitely an eye opening experience!

You can also get to see our witnesses in action in one of the most successful shows to have aired among us Steemians, it is a show that is Hive account@jony-cleawater s baby and is called:

HOTS or SHOTS

Now this is for adults only as it may contain scenes of people consuming alcohol, however, when people drink they also say a lot of what they truly think!

Again, this show is not exclusively reserved for Witnesses, however many a Steem Witness has been a guest and man, were they interesting.

For those among us who are not all into the "Video" or "Radio" thing, there are the good old regular posts that Witneses do as part of their campaign.

These posts use one of the following three tags:

With the witness-update actually being a formal post which is as the tag suggests a formal "update" in their campaign.

However, rather than having to go through each and every tag, one by one and then sort out who is or isn't a witness, life has been made easier with Hive account@witnesspage .

By simply FOLLOWing Hive account@witnesspage you will get all the posts by our active witneses in your feed.

For those among us who don't want to do that, there is another option out there which has been around for ages!

Yep, one of our fellow Top 20 Witnesses publishes a weekly post with all the relevant posts made by our Steem Witnesses.

The person who has been doing this for all of us is no one else but Hive account@timcliff.

He clearly titles these posts "The Reports from the Witnesses " and you can go to Tims page and scroll down to the latest one and check out the posts (via the links in his post) to catch up on what each Steem Witness posted during the past week.

There are other people out there actively working on and relaying information and opinions about our witnesses, doing interviews and so on, so the means to get to know our Steem Witnesses are increasing as time goes on and as more people get involved.

All this is great and now for the punchline of this post.

Drum roll!

Seeing that communications via a blogging platform can sometimes get a little difficult to follow, I figured that as a part of my witness campaign I shall add a means to follow me and catch up with what I am thinking, planning and doing via my own website.

Nope, this is no "front end app", all it is, is a short intro to the inns and outs of me Hive account@jackmiller .

For now it is the basic format of a webpage, as it is new and as time goes on, the list of posts and links on there shall increase in number.

Why did I do this?

Well, I basically wanted to make it easier for people who are interested in me as a witness and as a person to get to know a little more about me.

I sometimes wish I was a used car salesman, man, would I make this out to be the hottest thing since sliced pizza, but unfortunately I'm not all that crash hot in that field.

So here it is, the formal announcement of my own personal web page, made especially for all my fellow Steemians to meet me, Jack, aka Hive account@jackmiller via a web page without all the distractions that most social networks have!
