Looks like it's friday again! Where the heck did that week go?! I know for myself most of it was spent with my nose stuck in PHP code and in "debug hel"l as work on streemit.online continued. Getting really excited for this project as well over 100 hours this week was spent working on the GUI as well as getting the back end stuff running. Really pleased to announce that the site is nearly ready for launch.

Streeming

The site's streeming functionality is up and running currently. Feel free to come create a streemer account and check it out for yourself. Working on getting a different default streeming client going that is more iOS and Andriod friendly (maybe looking into a app for this) as the current streeming client isn't exactly the nicest nor best supported. A HTML5 replacement is currently under R&D but an estimated time of when it will be done I can't exactly say for sure.
A big part of Steemit and Streemit is the upvotes! While the streemit platform isn't yet directly hooked in to the blockchain yet allowing "cost-less" votes it is something that is being looked into for future feasability. With that being said you can still SBD or STEEM to the site for on-site Steem Dollars that you can use to tip your favourite streemers! Note you can also tip folks while they are offline via their streem page.. :)
You can now transfer between accounts on streemit easily! A wallet page similar to steemit will soon be built allowing for easy transfers within the streemit site and to other STEEM accounts. Eventually the hope is to build right on top of the STEEM blockchain but for now this will serve the purpose to move funds to and from accounts while their SBD is on site.
Deposits on the site are up and working as soon as coinpayments finishes maintenance on the STEEM wallet. Deposits are taking 5-30 minutes to be credited to accounts currently and I'm looking into the cause of this. In the near future we'll likely be switching away from the coinpayments deposit gateway in favour of our own faster deposit system but for the time being we'll still be processing our deposits through them.
As an added bonus to streemit VIP users we're allowing picture uploading and hosting! Currently this function is working although some modifications to the GUI are planned in order to make picture uploading and linking far easier.

A large chunk of the past 2 days have been spent plunking away on the PHP code to allow streemit to communicate with cli_wallet in order to process withdrawal requests. I'm just about there I think and hopefully will have withdrawals fully automated in the next few days. Currently you can still withdraw your SBD on site but I process them all manually. If anyone happens to have a nice chunk of PHP code they are using to send the http-rpc cli_wallet transfer commands securely and are willing to pass it along for my own research / usage please do! would be greatly appreciated.
Other News
In other news it appears that coinpayments.net is currently working on the STEEM wallet and not accepting the coins on site. I'll be shooting an email off to their administrator Mr.Data here shortly to see what the status of maintenance is and if I can lend a hand in helping him get the systems back up and running.
