The SteemGigs Weekly Discord Talk Happens In A Minute & Some ULOGS Stats.

The steemgigs discord talk will happen in a minute (i.e 12 am Sunday Manila time (+8 GMT)), like it always does each weekend. Today though, it is not yet assured that i will be there. I am still tending to my dad currently and he isn't in a very calm state, keeping me under pressure. 

I am glad and grateful to see #ulog progressing. I haven't taken keen note about the statistics but i have now started seeing statistical posts covering #ulog and it is becoming "IT", like Hive account@wizerdaze likes to call it.

The amazing thing is not much has been seen yet about the beauty of ulogs. https://ulogs.org it is, that will play this beauty out in full swing.

Earlier today, i saw some stats prepared by Hive account@quochuy covering especially, "the engagement" that occurs on #ulog and my heart lit up. A key part of this Hive account@ulogs journey is "curation" but a type of curation called "fan-style" curation that very much involves engagement, removes barriers and reduce rigor and there is evidence that this is happening. #ulog is just more than 2 months old and some 4,000 steemians have shown interest in the concept "ULOG" 

For among the first times, under #ulog, you can now "watch posts" as opposed to just "read them". Yes, that's how Hive account@eveningart puts in and well, how did these Hive account@uloggers mentioned in this post all stick in my memory? 

"They did #ulogging, i watched it and did "fan-style" curation (which isn't at all rigorous) and i became an ultimate "true fan".

There are also ULOG commercials done. The pleasant thing about all these is how organically these things happen. Note that there hasn't been full-blown promotion yet. Ulogs.org isn't publicly announced yet etc

How easy is it to promote steem using https://ulogs.org?

Yes, how about promoting steem directly using https://ulogs.org? Well, i tried it live yesterday. 

In the mall, while awaiting a purchase, i quickly spoke to 3 people, showing them ulogs.org on my fone and they all are waiting for me to sign them up already. 

I simply show them posts from people #ulogging out of the Philippines and helping them grasp that the art of #ulogging was a difficult as 1, 2, 3 and that was all.

I tell you, these happened in minutes.

One of the three was keen on how to cash out and one of the three already had the mindset of "connection, meeting friends, fun etc" and one of the three had the mindset of; "it's easy; just like i do on Facebook for free" and in my mind i said; "hahaha, it is as difficult as 1, 2, 3".
