- Both witness nodes are running 32GB ram with an additional 15g created with zRam compression. Results have been fantastic.
- I talked about the The frustration and difficulty of fighting spam on Steemit in a recent post.
- I was contacted by
and was told in what appears to be a cut/paste message to a couple others here, he will be back and will pay everyone back who was wronged. I have my doubts but would be nice to see. He only stayed long enough for one question, but he said the time frame is 3 months.
- I posted a very detailed post on why you should consider voting for me as witness. I recommend reading it if you want to know more about me.
Witness hardware
I currently run two witness nodes, one in the USA and one in Canada. They are monitored by remote servers and controlled with a kill-switch.
Witness Nodes
- 32GB Ram
- 1000MB/s SSD
- Quad-Core Xeon Processors
- Geographic Redundancy (USA & Canada)
Auxiliary Servers
- 8GB Ram
- 1000MB/s SSD
- Dual-Core Xeon Processors

If you are a witness and are not using GinaBot you are really missing out. is a project by
that notifies you within 5-15 seconds of mentions, witness approvals or disapproval, missed blocks, delegation changes, and other events via Discord. I highly recommend checking it out and it is completely free, even the registration fee is returned to you!
If you are interested in Net Neutrality, I posted about a recent ad from Burger King that I thought was really interesting. Last year they did a really powerful anti-bullying ad.
There is a new chain being developed for selling games which allows you to later resell them to other users called Robot Cache. I'm highly skeptical of this being successful, but it is an interesting project.
If you haven't heard of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, I highly recommend reading my post about it. It is a place in the Pacific ocean that collects plastic waste due to currents that is more than twice the size of Texas. It is not the only patch either, it is just the largest of many.
Looking forward to watching the Superbowl with my wife and son next Sunday. Go Pats!
