I'm curious who the folks behind this project are? People we know from the chain, people with trust built with the community? Looks like the server funding comes from Hive account@thelord.oflords, but that account has only ever made one comment, so that doesn't tell us much.

I like the idea of a witness using direct democracy, and of further decentralization of funds through rewarding voters (though that will definitely get some flack as vote-buying), but I don't feel like I can just trust that these couple of posts are honest.
