Hive account@zeartul ran Hive account@bellyrub and has jumped ship from Steemit after running multiple scams and one last-ditch effort the other day to get 40,000 Steem from Steemians. Luckily the damage for the 40,000 Steem investment opportunity was shut down quickly, but many are out money from his Hive account@bellyrubbank and other private deals.

He also was quadruple dipping his Steem Power which he stopped paying days ago. He was selling voting power as Hive account@bellyrub bid windows, then self-voting Hive account@zeartul & Hive account@bellyrub, selling votes to Hive account@minnowbooster, and doing a clearance sale for selling 200-300% upvotes. He then moved all his liquid assets off Steem.

There are a lot of people with a lot of voting power still voting for Hive account@zeartul and helping him maintain a passive income. Although it isn't a lot ($250 or so/month) it should be zero.

No one knew the type of person he was until it was too late, but we know now. If you are not sure, check your witness votes and support witnesses you believe in and have an agenda aligned with yours. There are lots of options but witness votes should be visited frequently to as many people support witnesses in the top 50 that have been offline for many months.
