This post is a quick update to my Witness Downtime June 18th 2018 post I've authored 7 hours ago.
I had a small hickup in the replay process where I didn't realise that the shared file-size was reset due to the previous server restart. So the replay always ran out of memory / shared file-size.
After setting the shared-file size again, everything went very smooth. So to my fellow witnesses - if your replay stops at a certain point - check your memory with:
df -m
And make sure that the amount you're seeing at /shm/, /dev/shm/ or whatever your path may be - is over the recommended GB amount. I have it currently at 60G.
And now the most important sentence:
My witness is active and producing blocks!
If you haven't voted for me yet or previously un-voted me due to the downtime - I would very much appreciate an approval vote from you.
Thank you!
Wolf
