The ultimate goal of WitnessWatch is to provide unbiased data in a way that most Steemit users can understand. We believe that this is the most effective way to serve the Steemit community and to make sure that Steemit users have the resources to make informed voting decisions. A secondary goal for us, is to encourage witnesses to engage in activities, behaviors, etc. that improve the platform.
We have struggled lately with the question of whether we should engage in voting for witnesses. So, in the spirit of democracy, we would like to open the floor for debate. The question at hand is whether WitnessWatch should cast witness votes? Will casting these votes allow WitnessWatch to remain objective? We would love to hear the communities thoughts on this and are open to any and all opinions.
