"White Ranunculus."
(This is my second submission for the Whiteiswhite Contest Week 26. Theme: Full Frame Flowers, hosted by )
Ranunculus (Asiaticus) is their I love the luxurious, satiny petals, of Ranunculus (Asiaticus) They provide a magnificent display in gardens, last a long time as cut flowers in a vase and grow well in containers as well.
These frost hardy perennials do well where winters are mild and the spring season is long and cool. Their claw-like bulbs determine the number of flowers that will be produced. Some will grow about 20 flowers. Others will produce a dozen or more.
The most common type called the Tecolote strain are mostly double blooms and are available in bi-coloured picotee, gold, red, salmon, orange, white yellow and pastel shades. The shorter, less common varieties range from pale orange, pink, red, yellow and white double flowers.
THANK YOU FOR VIEWING. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
