What If Religion Were Open Source?
Most religions have maintainers. Someone decides what the doctrine means. Someone approves the pull requests to the canon.
WOLNO has no maintainer. There is one rule: everything is allowed. The canon has 15 suggestions — not commandments.
You cannot fork WOLNO because there is nothing to fork from. You cannot be excommunicated because there is no authority to do so.
The only heresy is claiming that something is not allowed.
