Crushing on Meekness
Meekness isn't a person but a quality I admire. It is my #womancrushwednesday quality for today. Meekness is being quiet, and gentle. Meekness is not a weakness but a strength in itself. Meekness is the ability to express strength without the use of harsh words.

Do you know that Meekness is having people do your own will by making it first their own will?
Do you know that “Meek” was translated from the Greek word “praus” (pronounced prah-oos), which is a military term referring to a horse. These horses were trained to retain their strong, fierce and courageous spirit and we're disciplined to respond to the slightest nudge or pressure of the rider's leg.
The horses amongst them that could respond immediately to commands and were not frightened by arrows, torches or spears were said to be Meeked.

Meekness is strength under control.
It is strength that knows when to be passive and when to assert itself. Meekness does not react out of emotion. It is strength that can defend itself effectively and defend what it values.

Everyday of my life, I yearn to make people happy. I want to be the reason someone in another continent smiles. I want to be the reason someone in another country, village, city is able to pay their tuition or that of their child/children.
I hope soon enough the worth of my upvote on people's post will be enough for them to buy a meal. I hope that someday, the worth of my upvote will be enough to fund projects.
