Why is it that women who seek power only seem to want to be like the men who are already in power? How many times have I heard powerful women cry for equal opportunities, or for equal wages, to men? I would understand if women did these traditional male roles better than men, but they don't, they do it no differently. It's as if they just want to beat men at their own game, rather than aspire to improve things.
Women ARE different to men. They are more emotionally-tuned than men. They can empathise with others better. There focus is more human-oriented than system-based. They are truly capable of shaping the world in ways that men can't. Yet they seem to be in a hurry to forsake these inherent abilities in order to think and act just like men. Is it the prospect of power that motivates them to do this? Is it greed? Perhaps it's just naivety.
Hillary Clinton was destined to be no different than her predecessor. The system had shaped her that way. She would have performed the role no better or worse than anyone else who had been brought up through the political system, man or woman. Trump won because he was the only one to offer real change. Of course, he didn't deliver it, but he did offer it, and Hillary didn't.
When I look at Jesus, I see the resurrected Adam, as he was in the Garden of Eden, before the fall. When I look at Hillary, I see the fallen Eve, still lost in darkness, still seeking the pleasures and treasures of the world, having no spiritual understanding, having nothing of any real value to contribute to our journey through this life. What a wonderful world it would be if Eve, in her resurrected form, rose to take her place amongst men instead. We would then see change. We would see a goddess, and she would lead women back to their fullness, not as enemies of men, but as their equals.
This, I pray, with all my heart: Eve, stop selling yourself to fallen men, stop trying to be just like them, find the truth of who you are within your very self, and take your rightful place with God.
