When the horizontal sky becomes one on a wide open field, then the nature became an amazing surprise. This is not what is seen very often. Thousands of miles away from Bangladesh, in Bolivia, the beauty of the nature has been decorated with a unique form called Salar de Uyuni
Thousands of years ago, there was a huge lake in this region, named 'Lake Minchin. But the desert continues to dry slowly due to drought in desert areas. Once upon a time this lake was completely dry and gave birth to a huge desert, the top of which is fully wrapped with salt. Lithium deposited in the middle of it. It is estimated that 50-70 percent of the world's lithium reserves are in this region.
However, for the beauty of Salar de Uyuni, you have to wait for nature. Because on Sunny day it is nothing but a vast white desert. But when rain falls, the whole sky becomes clear then this region becomes a huge mirror. In which mirror the whole sky is caught under the feet. As a result of having a layer of salt on the plane which is called 'salt-flat' in English, the land allotments form a transparent mirror. The Andes Mountains are very near, and the sky is very much close from here.
The expansion of this mirror covers an area of about 10,582 sq. km. In the weird whim of nature, sky and ground seem mix together and creates a kind of illusion or magic. And so there is a great demand for taking photos of tourists here. But to be a witness to this beauty of nature, surely the fate will be well-deserved.
A dark pink water lake is very near of this salt land. Due to a type of fungus, the colors of the lake are mostly pink. This lake is considered as one of the place for the breeding of Flamingo birds.
