DANGER / CURVES AHEAD - hand planning curves

In this episode of PLANE TALK I focus on how to plane curved shapes. And I also pose the question: Is a spokeshave a plane?

My compass plane is a Stanley Victor No. 20-1/2. There are other versions of Iron and steel body compass planes and you can also make wood planes with fixed shaped soles to accomplish the same task.
