PATIENCE IS WISDOM
I was looking at the sky and the infinite space,
Incredible constellations shone before my eyes
How long would it take to create the immense sidereal?
And I was impatient, I wanted to put out the stars and hurry the dawn
Then I walked along the coast marking my feet in the sand,
Bathed by the sunlight and the beat of the waves,
I felt the wind on my face, the temperature of the salt water
But at the bottom of me asked the star king to soon hide
I wanted to eat the world in one bite, I thought so!
I never knew how to expect things to happen in time
I never appreciated the beauty that surrounded me
For not having the patience to understand its origin and the goodness that overflowed
I soon learned that life requires men with wisdom
Willing to understand that things are not created in a single day
With a little patience we can know the greatness that surrounds us
And we will create the sculpture that will give meaning to our lives
