OOOH genius idea as well, can you give users a way to add a referral code to all the links? All that needs to be add is ?r=username and just replace username with whatever the user chooses or none at all, then steem blockchain can track the referrals... one day Hive account@ned might let us pull this data but for now only he sees it, but it still works!
