Proverbs 12: 11
Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense.
The above quotation is one of the numerous takes the Holy Bible has on hard work. Over the years, people have abided by the principle of giving it their all to achieve great results whether on the farm or in the hospital, the farmer and the doctor do the best they can. It is important to keep in mind that even though this philosophy has been around for centuries and proven to be the best, it is still not 100 % the best without SMARTWORK especially in our era.
Here is why
Most people follow the tradition of going to school to acquire a degree and using that degree to acquire a job which will pay them monthly salaries.
Averagely, it takes people 40 years to retire from their jobs especially if it is a government job. After retirement, the individual takes averagely 40% of what they were paid in their working years. Now if the individual depended solely on hard work during this time frame, they will end up going for loans to solve some unexpected financial issues (which most often happens during retirement. It could be children’s school fees, rent, health bills etc..).
Now let us say the individual practiced SMARTWORK together with hard work. This means every month, they set aside a percentage of their salaries for another business setup. It could be anything from a Baber shop to a restaurant or any other venture.

Then with time, as the business grows, they buy shares in companies or even better invest in cryptocurrencies as I am doing (steem is the best so far. Don’t ask me why. Read the Whitepaper lol). By doing this, they may retire financially independent. It could be investing or starting several ventures but, in my opinion, 2 or 3 is good enough. What I mean is the probability of an individual (who incorporates both SMARTWORK & HARDWORK into their world in this age) becoming financially stable is higher than the fellow who embraces the old tradition (Just working hard).
Smart work sadly is not taught in schools. Which is why most people don’t use it. It requires a lot more than books and good grades. It requires that one who practices it leaves their comfort zone. It is learnt on the streets, the internet specifically YouTube, Google, Facebook and my personal favorite STEEMIT.
I HOPE YOU LEARN SOMETHING FROM THIS. IT IS NEVER TOO LATE
