Back on the windsurfing world tour and making the daily video's for the PWA events in Japan and Korea.
Ben Proffitt presents for each film and I film and cut an edit together each day. The Japan event was held on the entrance to Tokyo Bay and saw men's and women's foiling action.
This is the daily film of the last day, summing up the weeks racing and showing all the tension from an on edge final day. All the daily films from the other days can be seen on the PWA youtube page
Next we moved onto the Korean leg of the tour, here at Jinha Beach near Ulsan.
Here we are at lunch, which has been an interesting mix of Korean/western food - I guess it's Asian fusion food!! The event started out pretty wet.
Here is the story from day 2, with a tourist trip to a temple arranged in the morning followed by some stormy weather in the afternoon. Basically no-one really knows whats gonna happen here with localized thermal weather mixing with the cyclonic weather of eastern Asia.
Yesterday saw the first day of thermal winds and finally some high speed slalom action on the water. Fingers crossed for more of the same today as we enter the final days of the Asian leg of the tour.
Travelling back to the UK end of the week and looking forward to catching up with the food garden, whilst I've been away things have moved on from spring to summer so lots to do in the few days I'm home before the next film trip to capture the windsurfing world.
Here is the latest Bunty's Blog episode for a late May garden update.
