White lipped peccary is a hog like animal found in Central & South America.
Most of its range is in rain forests but it is also known from a wide range of other habitats such as grasslands, dry forests, Cerrado, mangrove & dry xerophytic areas. white lipped peccaries are omnivores feeding on nuts, fruits, vegetation & small amounts of animal matter. Their main predators are the puma, jaguar & potentially boas.
