The aerial bombardment continued on the eastern Ghouta in the Damascus countryside, and raids and artillery shelling continued in the areas of Brif Idlib, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries and the destruction of a clinic in a village.
In total, about 40 civilians were killed Thursday in these areas under Syrian and Russian bombardment, more than half of them in the eastern Ghouta as a result of the bombing of the regime and the rest in the countryside of Idlib.
According to the Al-Jazeera correspondent, the air and missile attacks on the eastern towns and villages of Al-Ghouta killed 21 people, eight of them in the town of Jisreen, while the Civil Defense said two raids caused the demolition of a two-storey building on two bridges. An unknown number of civilians are still under rubble.
