Finally the World Cup has started today by a big victory for the host country Russia against Saudi Arabia (5 - 0) in the opening game of this competition, a match attended by the president Putin who left satisfied by his national team performance.
The funny thing, while I am watching the game, I noticed that the most of Moroccans was supporting the Russian team. I understand them, that was because the Saudi Arabia voted for the united bid instead of supporting their "brothers".
We aren't surprised by the fact that FIFA had declined the Moroccan bid to host world cup 2026 as far as we are disappointed from some of arabic friends behavior. Let's forget about that and focus on tomorrow amazing games, in the first match, Suarez and his teamates will face the Pharaos, so good luck to the Egyptian team which is among the teams that I am supporting in this WC ( you can share with me teams that are you supporting in the comments ). The seconde one is the most waited match for me as a Moroccan, as I said before in TalkingWorldCup #01 it's 20 years since our last participation so it's normal Lol. The third will be between the European champion (Portugal) and the winner of the 2010 version (Spain).
