Yesterday was surprisingly good for football fans as 2 world best footballers both crashed out of the competition (I like it because it now gives other players to showcase the potential they have and not having to bother that a player would steal the spotlight) the matches were exciting as Argentina lost to France in a 7 goal thriller goals came flying in towards the end of the second half as Mbappe was able to record 2 goals to his name indeed France was way out of Argentina's league, while Portugal crashed out of the World cup after losing 2 goals to 1 against Uruguay Edison Cavani was the starman of the match as he grabbed a brace.
Today is the day two of the round of 16, I hope today's matches would make today a super Sunday for all football fans. 
Spain would face world cup hosts Russia at exactly 3pm (+1 UTC). In my opinion Spain has a better chance of winning Russia they would be starting with their regular line up, Spain will want to go all out with all they have on the other hand Russia would be making no changes in their starting lineup, that said I do not expect the match to be a boring one. My prediction for the match is in favour of Spain

Croatia would lock horns with Denmark attack 7pm (+1 UTC)
Croatia would play the usual 4-3-2-1 formation but in this match Modric would be playing an integral role of attacking midfielder to assist the lone striker Mandzukic. Denmark are not bringing anything special to the table for this game playing the regular 4-3-3 formation and eriksen and Christensen playing in the midfield it would be a tough battle for them to take control of the midfield ahead of Croatia but who knows a miracle might just happen
My prediction for the match is Croatia 2 - 0 Denmark
