Hey everyone, first of all I hope you had a pleasant weekend so far which brought a lot of joy into your life! Today I would like to present you a special experience that I made in Thailand and I am happy if you like my work.
During my time in the capital of Thailand Bangkok I made day trips and one of these days led me to the Ancient City which is also known under the name Muang Boran. First of all, I would like to say that it has been one of the most intense cultural experiences I have had there in every respect and those who know Thailand know that so much can be seen in this country in general and one trip often tops the other, which is why it's difficult to keep up with Thailand in this respect. The City is about an hour away from the centre, but I already looked at other things nearby before, which is why it was about an hour until I arrived here from the previous spot. I have already read before that this area should be so large that without a golf cart it will be difficult to visit everything and thats true, but a bike can also be rented which was probably the best option to explore everything comfortably and for people with restrictions the cart can also be chosen.
The bike was already included in the entrance fee and here I had the advantage of being completely free on the road and partly with the bike could ride directly to the sights like the ancient ruins. It's important to take a map right at the entrance because otherwise it is almost impossible to find your way around and I actually managed to see everything and was here until shortly before the closure. For general understanding it is important to know that this City is an artificially created complex on which the most important historical highlights of the country were recreated and from old temples, ruins to small lakes everything can be found. It is not without reason considered one of the largest open-air museums in the world which extends over a fabulous 300 hectares and how many objects there are exactly which are to be found here I no longer have exactly in mind but there were over 120 numbers on the map, of which only a few could not be visited precisely because of restorations.
Everything has been created in real detail and it seemed to me as if I were immersed in a world that amazed me directly and inside the City you can find topics from all regions of the country. The entrance fee was a bit more expensive with 700 baht but it was really worth every penny and also important to maintain this culturally rich place and I think money that flows into the culture is always welcome. I have also seen people who have walked around but I was not sure if they were there the first time but if so, that is never possible to see everything that way and I can only recommend again to rent a bike or golf cart to make the best of the trip. Whether for singles, families or elderly people, I am sure that everyone here will get their money's worth and everyone in the area should not miss this unique place!
