Hey dear community, at the beginning I would like to wish you all a great day and hope you have pleasant holidays so far and already made some plans for Christmas! In my new post I would like to share an experience that I made during my time in Chiang Mai and am happy as always if you like what I do.
When I was in Ching Mai I was lucky enough to get some advice from someone who lives there and also this visit was a part of it and a local showed it to me. We spent a great time there and it was good to get out of the city and to get to the farm we had to drive about 30 minutes into the rural area. On the site there are greenhouses in which some orchids can be seen and the special thing here is probably the variety of species as well as different colors and the play of colors alone is already an absolute highlight just like the proximity to nature. We were there in the morning and at that time there was very little going on so we could spend a quiet time but there was a larger group especially in the area of the butterflies which is why we decided to look at the flowers first. Also the entrance is fair in every respect and we both have paid together about 100 baht which is really reasonable for what is offered and there are also options to drink a coffee here which we have skipped and fully concentrated on nature here.
In Thailand orchids are extremely popular and this passion is also expressed here because in total there should be several hundred species which can be found here and also for experienced lovers of flowers should be something new here! The visit to the butterflies was also a funny experience and as soon as we got into the greenhouse, the first butterflies flew in our direction and were partly so curious that they sat on us. Similar to the orchids, there were also butterflies in various colors and especially for photos it was probably the best place and even if I have already had a similar experience in the past I was able to get to know some new specimens here. The atmosphere alone is absolutely worth coming here and we combined the trip right away and visited a large temple complex as well as the well-known Sticky waterfalls which are nearby and I was very happy to have made this natural experience. Visitors to the city who are looking for a day trip should definitely stop by here and it can be very worthwhile to combine it with the sticky waterfalls to experience even more of the nature.
Many thanks for stopping by and I hope you could learn something new and like my post and appreciate my effort! I captured these pictures with my Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm.
