Victoria Police announced on Thursday that Cardinal George Pell — the Vatican's Prefect of the Secretariat for the Economy — has been charged for alleged "multiple" historical sex offences by "multiple" complainants. He is required to face the Melbourne Magistrates Court on July 18.
