Fairy Circles
In Africa, there is a stretch of about two thousand kilometers in area of land where there are circles in the ground. Many scientists are trying to figure out what are causing the circles.
This is a big mystery. The reason is because there are so many different theories as to WHY these circles are appearing. One theory is that it is caused by termites or other insects. Another theory is that there could be gas coming out of the ground and THAT could be the reason why no plants grow in the circles. Scientists have done numerous experiments to find out why this is happening.
It ends up that after years and years and years of experiments, one scientist came up the "sand termite" theory. It's still not proven; however, he is most like right.
