It is my firm belief and utmost hope, that we as a species
Will not remain trapped on this, our home planet. Not
Only is it a necessity for our survival as a species for
Us to move off planet, but it is necessary as a goal,
A Challenge for us to accomplish. We have spent
Millennia ruining this world; we have learned a
Lot about what not to do in the process. If we
Can keep our heads together, not let those
Corporations who seek to control every
Aspect of our existence hold us back,
Or worse, preempt the effort for their
Benefit, we can survive and thrive.
The things we learn in this effort
Will surely benefit those who
Remain behind, and help us
To repair the damage that
Has been done by us.
Hope for the future.
The journey to the
Other planets, if
Not onward to
The stars.

If we cannot leave behind all our
Centuries of hate and prejudice, the inbred lies of
Superiority of one over the other,
Then perhaps we do not
Deserve to escape to the stars.
This is the baggage of history, the
Lessons not learned,
That set one man against his brother,
That allow men to justify
Exploitation and Enslavement.
Men drive the corporations,
Men run the governments that overlook
The Rights and Needs of their people,
Only to enrich a privileged few,
THESE are the things we
Must overcome.
Love is the answer, let us take
Love in our hearts, love for each other,
Love of the planet, and
Together,
Let us reach for the stars.
