Our words are powerful,
Our tongues are lethal weapons.
Consider the damage you can do with an ill-considered,
Casual (to you), offhand remark.
A word said in a few
Seconds
Can open profound wounds in sensitive
People, that can take years to heal.
Consider your words very carefully.
Whenever you can,
Think about what you mean to say,
The REAL message you want to convey,
THEN choose what you say.
The cliché that goes:
‘Your mouth was in gear, but
Your brain wasn’t Driving’
Describes something
That should be avoided at
All costs.
Think about the
Consequences of your
Words, before you
Speak.
You can’t
‘Unsay’ a word
Once spoken.
