Perseverance is a great quality anybody who intends to succeed must posses be it small or big. The lack of this great asset has render many people failure in their endeavor. A lot of things could be achieved through perserverance. 
What is perseverance itself? It is a determination to endure all types of situations so as to achieve desirable results in any venture.
The determination to succeed even when obstacles create blockage on one's way. Such person is said to preserve.
In all human endeavor, perseverance is important. A farmer who want to reap bountiful harvest, will not only prepare the land but also, plant the crops, weed the land and toil day and night to make sure the crops grow well. After all these have been done then, the result will be uneven development.
A student if he or she wanted to make it and excel in he studies, must be ready to preserve, be all eyes in the classroom and also burn the mid night candle when others are fast asleep. He has to overcome all obstacle on his way and results of it will be brilliant performance in his examination. While a lazy student will not be willing to preserve, he come to school late, he wouldn't pay to the teacher, sleep in the night a snore to the very last ends. When exams come will such person pass, all he will want to do is 'giraffe ' method to copy his colleagues work which is not always easy.
I remember when I joined steemit, everything was like I'm not going to see a cent on my post, it was so tough that I was beginning to think that steemit is not really meant for someone like myself who couldn't write great quality posts, who couldn't invest in steem. But the reward of perserverance is ultimately development. Now, I'm receiving support from the community unlike before but I know what it takes to do that. Though, it's not that great but couldn't compare to when I first joined. I remember those days when I wouldn't sleep in the night, waiting for a post to comment.
