A Chinese proverb compares friends to the jaws and teeth of a dangerous animal: if you are not careful, you will find them chewing you up.
Being friends with people is a bit tricky and I must say too that making friends with most people also has its rewards as much as it has its many heartaches and pains.
This is not meant to make you not make friends, it is generally intended to make you WARY of friends.
I make bold to say, I have “friends” (or people I call friends) but when it comes to differentiation in most cases, I’m pressed hard to point at one and say “this is my friend”. Sad as it sounds, it is the truth.
Looking at the ways we have become so obsessed to destroying others for the benefits of oneself, humans have become really far from being humane and sane.
Friends have been known to destroy faster than the enemies would, and that has made many find it difficult to be open to being friendly and stay that way.
Many are friends, but the few good ones are mostly hard to come by; But when you find good friends they stay with you long after the party is over to help pick up the mess and even if they know they cannot guarantee a complete cleanup, they give it their best.
Be very “wary of friends” because they are always mostly the cause of the mess.
I am thankful for the enemies I made along the way because they have helped me stay the cause because without them, I will never be who i am today.
This is a good time to be alive and you must and should as a matter of urgency, make as much friends/enemies as you can because, they are a part of your story and without them, you will be half read.
