Our first poem for this week is 's Blank#poetry
No I'm not your husband mom,
you know that father's dead.
Oh you saw him the other day?
Well, if that makes you feel better mom,
you know, then that's okay.
Our next poem is Bucharest by
When life ends, do you still go to work?
In the grave, do they scratch your car?
Do you get melted asphalt on your shoes?
Our third choice is Capitulation by
A capitulation
To darkness
Which
Let's be honest
At this point seems tireless
As if it could go on forever
And perhaps it could
Who knows?
Next up is There is a Lightness to the Night by
Sunlight lifts the standing air
that evening sets upon your face.
The symmetry of bricks and streets
and rows of streetlights –
perfect this place.
wrote this beautiful piece called to gather, in passing
keep pushing
when the radiance
builds to reflect the sun itself
pulling tears to the tips of your lashes;
or is it the searing trails
the thorns tear down your wrists
And our final choice is Catch The Falling Star by
Constellation magic, tightrope strung
between the thighs of imagination, rhythm
section in the Wonka factory your body is
tasty morsels is a table for dining is hidden
gem sparkles that fell from your heart above
