The following is an alchemical poem that I wrote.
The red road crumbles as the light passes
Exposing roots and tendrils underneath
Soil dark as ichor to quench the masses
And feed the dark song's severed boney teeth
Below the cracks here
Ripe is the earth below the frozen ground
Waiting without lust, and beckoning still
To nurture the seeds of a new aeon
A crown of life and death graces the veil
And commands the world
Wandering about in the dark, alone
Wishing for something light to guide us home
As a midnight sun shines through this dream sky
Illuminating all and one and none
Along the red road
The days pass all while this road withers still
New footsteps, new challenges, and new scars
Strategy and care, wisdom and belief
The black sun burns the crawling time away
Leaves us red again
