Men, women and children who sleep through the streets and sidewalks of the city. No destination, not knowing where to go. They wake up and do not know where to go, who to turn to for help, where to eat, where to drink.
It's hard to imagine a life like this. After all, I'm "rich". I have a house to live, sleep, rest and feed. I have a house to protect me from the rain and scorching sun. It's hard to imagine such a life and it's much harder to live such a life without anything. Without a "support column", without a "safe harbor", without anyone.
We all deserve to have what we always dream. We all deserve a life worthy, of abundance, of prosperity, peace and freedom.
Freedom from a system that enslaves us and keeps us trapped and dependent on its goodwill. Freedom from those in power and never look at us.
Only full freedom can restore the human dignity of those who sleep on the sidewalks, under the shops, on the avenues and streets of our country. While freedom does not come, we have only to pray and help with what little we have. What seems small to us, to those who have nothing, is very much.
