With the advances of computers and programming languages all sorts of fun multiplayer games have popped up over the last year or so! If you are looking for an online multiplayer game to take a break on or are simply bored feel free to check out this list below for something you like! I've included some of the most awesome from my bookmarks below.
What I've dubbed the "Multiplayer-PVP Chess of 2016" the game agar.io is simple to play but difficult to master. The point is to collect little dots or eat other players to become the largest. The 1st .io game I was introduced to. Try using the "spacebar" and "w" keys to split your character(s) or shed mass. Avoid the bigger blobs, Try to eat everything smaller.
The opposite of the slow methodical collecting of agar listed above wings.io brings high speed deathmatch to the air as you pilot jets in a wild dogfight above the ocean.
For those of you that checked out the games above I welcome you to diep.io which is a solid cross between fast paced shooting and collecting (or shooting in this case) to try and make it to the top of the scoreboards. With many game modes and classes/play styles to try this game above is a great way to take a break.
You figure with a name like mope.io the game would be dreary but it's graphically one of the cutest games on this list. This game has characters pit against eachother in nature as various types of cute animals with special powers to choose from.. Which eventually has you turning into a FREAKING BREATHING DRAGON..!
Those of you into Mulriplayer PVP Team Deathmatch style games might get a kick out of the graphics and smooth gameplay offered by vertix.io. Tons of classes and weapons to try out. Worth a round or 2.
If melee is more your style for Multiplayer PVP Team Deathmatch then look no further than wilds.io. Grab your sword or axe and smite your enemy on the online battlefield. All sorts of different style attacks to learn and with a blocking system you're sure to have fun
Not everyone wants to get their hands dirty with guns or axes.. So why not send the tanks in? This is exactly what tankwars.io does in a fun, fast playing arcade sense. Defend strategic points on the map from other player controlled tanks and establish victory in the match.
This is a totally different type of game.. It's a multiplayer physics game which pits users against eachother to knock the other player balls off the screen. A very odd game! Very reminiscent of super smash brothers minus the characters and attacks.
Truth be told I'm not sure to classify this as a game or an experiment. Every cursor on the screen is in fact another person on the internet and you must help each other get to the end.
Ever since seeing Jaws as a child I've been terrified of deep water and sharks... but on sharkz.io I can become the shark! Roam the sea eating everything in your sights while avoiding larger sharks that can really take a bite out of you.
