Skeptical, Fred signed up on Steemit, he couldn't believe people were making money posting interesting things. It was more exciting than any idea he came across so far.. making money, by doing something he'd do anyway for free? No, that sounded too good to be true.. His upbringing taught him, "if it was too good to be true, it ain't". But what the hell, it was worth the try, even the disappointment if it did not work, not much to lose.. He decided to sign up, he made a simple post, a childlike hope people would read it, like it, smile at it, the same kind of hope children have before Christmas really.. he went to sleep, exhausted from a long day of work. By the time he woke up, his post was quickly picked up by the community and upvoted to the point where he made more on Steemit that night than during his exhausting workday.. he couldn't believe it, it was impossible, this was a wake up call, a calling to keep hoping, to keep believing, to keep loving. Anything was indeed possible.
